Kevin Wideman is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Koniag Government Services (KGS), with over 30 years of experience in leadership positions. As CEO, Kevin oversees a portfolio of wholly owned subsidiaries focused on delivering solution-oriented IT and professional services to the Federal Government.
Kevin drives the company’s success through revenue growth, strategic planning, operational excellence, and customer delivery. He specializes in building an employee-centric business culture based on high-quality customer service, recognition of outstanding employee performance, and the common pursuit of company goals. This has allowed him to position KGS as a leader and sought-after partner within the Government Information Technology Services industry.
Since joining KGS in September 2018, Kevin has led the company’s growth, increasing its annual revenue from $230 million to $830 million. During this time, KGS also expanded from 350 employees to a team of over 3,500. KGS was named a Top Workplace in 2025.

Kevin was recently recognized by Virginia Business as one of Virginia’s most accomplished Black executives for his support of the Next Generation Leadership program. Kevin serves on the Board of The 13th Man, a mentoring organization with a mission to elevate the lives of young men through empowerment, personal development, and leadership engagements.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Temple University.
