Aisha McGill

Chief Business Operations Officer

Aisha McGill serves as the Chief Business Operations Officer at Koniag Government Services (KGS), reporting directly to the CEO. With over 25 years of experience in the government contracting sector, she oversees enterprise-wide operations including the corporate Ethics and Compliance Program, Quality Operations, Contracts Management, Proposal and IDIQ Operations, and Marketing and Communications. 

Since joining KGS in 2018, Aisha has been instrumental in positioning the company for sustainable growth and competitive advantage in the federal marketplace. She transformed KGS’s operational infrastructure by transitioning from a primarily outsourced model to a robust internal service center, establishing scalable processes that support the organization’s aggressive growth trajectory while enhancing employee engagement and service delivery excellence. 

Prior to her current role, Aisha established and led multiple critical functions at KGS, including Business Development, Information Technology, and the KGS Health Line of Business. Her key accomplishments include implementing a comprehensive full-lifecycle capture and proposal process, designing innovative pipeline management tools, and executing a major data migration project that significantly improved enterprise data security and accessibility. 

In 2022, Aisha successfully launched KGS’s Health Line of Business, serving as its president until April 2024 and expanding the company’s portfolio into new market segments. Before KGS, she held leadership positions where she developed and executed growth strategies that positioned multiple companies for successful acquisition, demonstrating her exceptional ability to drive organizational value. 

Aisha holds a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University and Six Sigma certification. She has further expanded her expertise through specialized programs at the George Mason School of Business and Harvard Law School. 

A committed champion of talent development, Aisha has established several initiatives to nurture future leaders, including the KGS Internship Program and Communities of Practice that provide mentorship and growth opportunities. She actively supports educational advancement for indigenous communities through partnerships with the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) and the Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program (ANSEP). 

Through strategic vision and dedicated leadership, Aisha continues to drive KGS’s growth and success as a leader in the government contracting industry.
