Ray Coleman

Ray Coleman is Chief Information Officer of Koniag Government Services (KGS). Mr. Coleman has extensive experience leading enterprise IT modernization initiatives for the Department of Defense and Federal Civilian agencies.

Most recently, he served as Executive Program Director, Cloud Management Office, for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Prior to the IRS, Mr. Coleman was Chief Information Officer for the Defense Contract Management Agency and he rose to the position of Chief Information Officer at the United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, after holding the post of Chief Information Security Officer. Previously, Mr. Coleman owed an Independent IT Security Consultancy.

A graduate of Strayer University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Internetworking Technology, Mr. Coleman also graduated from the Defense Acquisition University, attaining a DAWIA Level III-Information Technology. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army.
