Case Study: Advancing Military Healthcare: KGS Supports DHA in Launching Global Compliance Program

Koniag Government Services partnered with the Defense Health Agency’s (DHA) Healthcare Operations Support Division (HCOS) to achieve Initial Operating Capability (IOC) for a comprehensive healthcare compliance program for the Military Health System (MHS). Our team of healthcare experts assisted in critical startup phase activities for the Organizational Inspection Program (OIP), including, drafting policies and checklists, providing IT support, and delivering the systems and processes needed for program execution. This MHS-wide healthcare compliance program aims to enhance healthcare delivery globally, focusing on achieving great outcomes, maintaining a ready medical force, ensuring patient satisfaction, and fostering staff fulfillment. KGS’s contributions have laid the groundwork for a five-year plan to reach Full Operational Capability (FOC) for the OIP that is directly aligned with the DHA Director’s key priorities for military healthcare excellence: Great Outcomes, Ready Medical Force, Satisfied Patients, and Fulfilled Staff.
