Operations Management Operating Group President
As President of the KGS Operations Management Operating Group, Geoff Wheeler leads a portfolio of programs to support critical business infrastructure needs of our federal government clients. Mr. Wheeler consistently brings together industry relationships, technical capabilities and contracting solutions to add measurable value for our customers, employees, and native shareholders. He joined Koniag in October 2002 as Director of Business Development for its subsidiary Frontier Systems Integrator, LLC (FSI) to lead sales and strategic business development in the federal government market. After delivering over $230M for FSI and Koniag, Mr. Wheeler was assigned to support Koniag’s subsidiary development across a wide spectrum of government and commercial areas including facilities management, physical security, wireless engineering, and general management consulting markets. As President of Koniag subsidiary PacArctic, LLC, from 2014 to 2018, Mr. Wheeler led its transformation from a failing commercial transportation company into a successful small business and trusted partner for dozens of federal clients across the country.
Prior to joining the Koniag family, Mr. Wheeler grew international and domestic wireless engineering software and test equipment sales for engineering consulting firms based in Washington, DC and Düsseldorf, Germany. Mr. Wheeler holds a BA in International Marketing and German from Clemson University and an MBA (International Business, Finance, and Quality Management tracks) from the University of South Florida. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Mr. Wheeler enjoys fishing, hunting, golfing, skiing and quality time with family – usually involving college football, cooking, and the outdoors.
